Banners

Rapture is wrapped in banners of red fabric with letters and piping in gold thread. Each banner has a slogan based on Ryan's philosophy.

• NO GODS OR KINGS. ONLY MAN.
• THE GREAT CHAIN IS GUIDED BY OUR HAND.
• THE GREAT CHAIN OF INDUSTRY TIES AND UNITES US.
• ALTRUISM IS THE ROOT OF ALL WICKEDNESS.
• A MAN BUILDS. A PARASITE ASKS, "WHERE'S MY SHARE?"
• THE GREAT WILL NOT BE CONSTRAINED BY THE SMALL.
• THE ARTIST SHOULD NOT FEAR THE CENSOR.

The first banner appears in the lighthouse, draped under the hugh bust of Andrew Ryan. It is ironic that it should appear thus, for Ryan in the end acted like both a god and a king. And yet, he died a human after all.

The last banner appears only once, in the Museum level, in the gift shop, where a player would likely miss it since the shop is out of the way.
